Trigger point therapy is a systematic approach to relieving chronic and often severe muscular pain. Trigger points are hyper-irritable nodules found in tight bands of muscle. When these trigger points are active, they can result in pain and muscular dysfunction. This means a reduction in muscular strength, in muscular recovery time post exercise, as well as a degradation in the coordination of different muscle groups. Our approach is straight forward, effective, and a fraction of the cost of traditional massage therapy. We perform the massage over your clothes, so no need to disrobe! She is co-founder of New Again Fitness in Ottawa. She has additional certifications in trigger point therapy and sports nutrition. She is fully certified in First Aid and CPR/AED (adult and child) certifications, and is an active Bikini Fitness competitor. Melanie enjoys getting her clients into the best shape of their lives, regardless of their starting point.
Lionel is a certified Personal Trainer, Active Aging Specialist and has additional certifications in Trigger Point Therapy (the William Hunh Method). He is fully certified in First Aid and CPR/AED (adult and child). Formerly a personal trainer at Movati Athletic, he is co-founder of New Again Fitness in Ottawa. Lionel enjoys preparing clients with chronic muscular pain to move pain free and to resume a active lifestyles.
