Jean-Sébastien Viard

After many years of dancing Salsa, Ballroom, and Latin styles, Jean-Sébastien found his way to Argentine Tango and quickly became a deeply committed and musical social dancer. His interest in dance led him to teach with Montango (Montreal) from 2012 to 2020, Tango Rico from 2015 to 2024, and Tango Club Rive-Nord from 2022 to 2023.

As a teacher, Jean-Sébastien is highly attuned to technique, musicality, and partner connection. He is a skilled dance diagnostician, helping students refine their movement while fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment. His teaching philosophy encourages dancers to listen to the music, explore their creativity, and build strong connections with their partners.

In addition to teaching, Jean-Sébastien is a regular DJ at local and international Tango events and organizes intensive Tango retreats during the summer.
